Mugiemoss Youth continued their losing run with a disastrous start to the game which left them with a mountain to climb against mid-table Torphins. Goals from Cruickshank, Travers and Brow within the first 5 minutes left Division Two (East) strugglers Mugiemoss facing another heavy defeat.
Insch Claim the Stephen Shield
Insch manager Malky Mackie was absolutely thrilled to have won their first trophy in five years when they beat Rattrays by the narrowest of margins. In a game of few chances it was the country team that scored the decisive goal 15 minutes from the end from the unlikely boot of Dave Duthie after Rattrays defence failed to clear the ball.
Woodside Lift the AFC Trophy
Derek Craigie scored the only goal of the game as Woodside retained the Aberdeen Trophy Centre Aberdeen FC Trophy. The winner came early in the second half, turning the tables on Cove Thistle who had beaten Woodside in the North of Scotland Cup final just seven days ago.
