Results for 11th/12th October
Newtonhill progressed to the national stages of the Fosters Centenary Scottish Amateur Cup after getting the better of Nicolls Amateurs in their 2nd round replay. Stoneywood SSC went through to the next round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy, defeating Glentanar Reflex 2-1 at home. In the Premier league Cowie Thistle were defeated 2-1 at home by University.
Ian Napier Memorial Shield
Banchory Ams and Kincorth will be going for the first silverware of the season in the Ian Napier Memorial Shield at Jamieson Park on Sunday. The Shield is contested by the Division One (North) and Division One (East) champions from the previous season.

Banchory Amateurs and Kincorth will be going for the first silverware of the season in the Ian Napier Memorial Shield at Jamieson Park on Sunday. Six of the outstanding Scottish Cup second round ties, including three replays, will be played on Saturday. Divison One (North) pace-setters AC Mill Inn will travel to Inverurie expecting to give Premier Division Burghmuir a tough time in the third round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy.
Halliburton 1 – 1 Luthermuir
The gale force wind blowing down the park made this Scottish Amateur Cup tie a game of two halves. Halliburton’s Webster struck after 15 minutes but this was cancelled out for the visitors by Robertson with 10 minutes remaining. The two teams will have to do it all again in two weeks time at Luthermuir.
Results for 4th October
In the Fosters Centenary Scottish Amateur Cup Kintore had a good win on the Isle of Skye beating Skeabost 5-0. Glendale Youth also had a comfortable 5-0 win after their trip to Tongue. ARI Thistle had to fight hard to beat Portree Amateurs 2-1 at home and University got the better of Cove Thistle at Hillhead winning 3-2 in the Premier Trophy.
Draws made on 2nd October
Draws for the next rounds of all of the local cup competitions were made on Thursday 2nd October. This includes the Quarter-Finals of all divisional cups, the Second Round of the Association Trophy and Dickie Trophy and finally the Third Round of the AFC Trophy.
FC Geldie 2 – 3 Kintore
Kintore go into the hat for the third round draw of the AFC Trophy after beating FC Geldie in a hard fought game at Findon. This was the second meeting of the teams in as many weeks and Kintore came out victors again.
Fixtures for 4th October
The Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup takes centre-stage this Saturday with 28 second round ties to be played. Kintore face a long trip to Skye to take on Skeabost while Glendale Youth travel to Tongue. In local cup competition University host Cove Thistle in the Premier Trophy and Feughside go to Heathryfold to take on Rattrays XI in the Castle Rovers Cup.
Results for 27th September
Theologians and Insch moved into the second round of the Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup while Burghmuir were the first AAFA team to move into the national stages after their 3-2 win against Continental. In other cup ties Kintore, Monymusk and Sunnybank Ams all advanced into the third round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy and Beacon Rangers won through to the second round of the Association Trophy.
ARI Thistle 1 – 1 Mearns United
ARI Thistle and Mearns United had to settle for a share of the points at Aulton on Saturday. Beel opened the scoring for the Fettercairn side within a minute but ARI fought back and Constable scored the equalising goal ten minutes from time.
