Cove Thistle won the North of Scotland Cup for the third season in a row, one of only three clubs to have achieved this feat.
Cove Thistle ran out the victors in a very tight game against a strong Woodside team which were restricted to very few chances the best of which was a shot which hit the underside of the bar and then cleared.
The only goal of the game came from Craig Little 15 minutes from the end of the game. Little Thought he had scored just minutes earlier but the goal was ruled out for offside, however he and Cove were not to be denied as a cross came in from the right Little found some space 8 yards out and hit the ball first time to beat the Woodside defence.
