John Todd Memorial Trophy Final at Heathryfold on Sunday 23rd May
The inaugural John Todd Memorial Trophy was won by Echt after extra time against Bon Accord City. A crowd of about two hundred turned out on a fine sunny day.
Echt took the lead in fifty four minutes when Alan Yackiminie ran at the defence and beat keeper Hill.
Ten minutes later Bon Accord equalised when Scott Craig‘s shot gave keeper Garden no chance.
The game went to extra time and in one hundred and thirteen minutes Echt’s Calum Murray won the game for his team with a drive from twelve yards out.
Final Score: 1-2
Brenda Todd with her two sons Liam and Paul presented the Cup.
