John was a highly successful player with Hilton and Sunnybank over many years and his family and friends presented a trophy to the Association to honour his memory after he sadly passed away last year. The John Todd Memorial Trophy will be contested annually by the teams finishing in the top four places in the Premier Division in the previous season.
The draw for this season’s competition was made at the General Committee Meeting on 21st January. Current Premier Division champions Cove Thistle have been drawn at home to Echt and last season’s runners-up Kincorth will host Bon-Accord City. The two semi-finals will be played at the ground of the first drawn club on Saturdays (dates to be advised) and the final will be played at Heathryfold on a Sunday.
