Leagues for Season 2011-12

The leagues for season 2011-12 were confirmed at the Association’s AGM on Thursday 30th June.

Five new clubs were welcomed into the Association at the AGM and they will all be in Division Three next season. The new clubs are – Broomhill BC, Byron FC, Dee Amateurs, Great Northern Athletic and Turriff Thistle.

Hilton resigned from membership of the Association just prior to the AGM. This means that University Strollers are promoted to fill the vacant position in Division One (North) and Glentanar Reflex are promoted to Division Two. Hilton’s resignation meant that there was an additional promoted position from Division Three to both Second Division sections and this means that Northern United will now go into Division Two (North) alongside other promoted sides JS XI (1st), Alford (3rd) and Cammachmore (5th), while Glentanar Reflex will go into Division Two (East) alongside other promoted sides St Laurence (2nd), West End Electrical (4th) and Torphins (6th). The confirmed leagues for next season are set out below.

The Association will have a total membership of 85 clubs for season 2011-12. All of the Divisions will have 14 clubs with the exception of Division Three which will have 15 clubs.
