Results for 16th and 17th April

Kincorth beat Cove Thistle 3-2 after extra time on Sunday to reach the final of the Soccer World North of Scotland Amateur Cup. On Saturday, Postal ALC made it through to the final of the Dickie Trophy with a 5-3 win against St Laurence and Nicolls Amateurs will take on Lads Club Amateurs in the Stephen Shield final after winning at Mearns United on penalties.

Westhill claim the Barclay Cook Cup

Westhill claimed the Barclay Cook Cup on Wednesday evening at Hillhead after beating a spirited Kemnay Youth side 4-1. Darren Ross bagged a first half brace before David Graham pulled one back from the penalty spot just before half-time. Second period goals from Iain Jamieson and Alastair Rae saw Westhill home.

Results for 13th April

Westhill defeated Kemnay Youth 4-1 in the final of the Barclay Cook Cup. Kincorth, Dyce, Westdyke and Cowie Thistle all picked up three points in the Premier Division. The top three in Division One (North) all won while Division One (East) leaders RGU lost at Newmachar, allowing Blackburn and Cove Thistle to close the gap. St Laurence ended JS XI’s unbeaten Division Three record with a 5-3 win.

Fixtures for 20th April

Stoneywood Amateurs play Cove Thistle in the White Cup Final on Wednesday 20th April at Hillhead with a 7.15pm kick-off. All other midweek games next Monday and Wednesday kick-off at 6.45pm.

Results for 11th April

Mearns Utd boosted their Division One (North) title hopes with an exciting 5-4 win against MS Utd. Cove Thistle closed the gap on the leaders in Division One (East) with a convincing win at Luthermuir. It’s as you were at the top of Division Two (North) after Kaimhill United and Portlethen United drew 1-1 and JS XI remain unbeaten at the top of Division Three after a single goal victory against Cammachmore.

Fixtures for 16th and 17th April

Postal ALC meet St Laurence with a place in the Dickie Trophy final up for grabs. Also looking for a cup final berth are Mearns United and Nicolls Amateurs who play in a Stephen Shield semi final. On Sunday Kincorth play Cove Thistle at Heathryfold in the first Soccer World North of Scotland Cup semi final, kicking off at 3.00pm.

Northern Hotspurs 3 – 8 Alford

With eleven goals and three red cards this Division Three game had plenty of talking points. It was Alford who ran out comfortable winners with goals from Reid (2), Ferries (2), Robertson, Gordon, Goldie and Rennie.

Results for 9th April

Kincorth will meet Cove Thistle in semi-finals of the Soccer World North of Scotland Cup after defeating Dyce at Pitmedden Road and Echt will take on Nicolls Amateurs in the last four after edging out Tarves. Hilton and Stoneywood Amateurs both won in the Association Trophy while Portlethen United remain ten points clear at the top of Division Two (North) following a narrow win at Rubislaw against Grammar FPs.
