Results for 18th September

Banchory and MS United both made it through to the second round of the Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup and Echt reached the final of the John Todd Memorial Trophy for the second successive season with a win against Bon-Accord City. Premier Division leaders Woodside were held by AC Mill Inn while Sportsmans Club maintained their 100% record in the top flight.

Fixtures for 25th September

Second Round ties in the Aberdeen FC Trophy head the fixture list this weekend while there are also games at a similar stage of both the Association and Dickie Trophies. In the Premier Trophy Westdyke take on Dyce ITC Hydraulics and in the Stephen Shield it’s Mearns Utd against Banchory.

Fixtures for 18th September

A number of clubs are in cup action this Saturday with Huntly Amateurs hosting Banchory and Cruden Bay visiting MS United in the Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup first round. The first John Todd Memorial Trophy semi-final takes place with Echt taking on Bon Accord City. Premier Division leaders Woodside defend their unbeaten record at home to AC Mill Inn.

Results for 11th September

Mugiemoss Youth booked their place in the last 16 of the Dickie Trophy with a 3-1 win at Cruden Bay while Feughside, Huntly Amateurs, Rothie Rovers and Westhill all secured quarter-final berths in the Barclay Cook Cup. Mearns United and Don Athletic both picked up three points to move to the top of their respective leagues and JS XI won to stay out in front in Division Three.

Fixtures for 11th September

Kincorth host Division One (North) league leaders Rattrays XI in the opening round of the Association Trophy and Northern United take on Parkway Thistle at Beach Park in the Dickie Trophy. Grammar FPs and Don Athletic both have the opportunity to go top of Division Two (North) when they meet at Rubislaw.

Results for 4th September

FC Polska won 4-1 at Theologians in the first round of the Scottish Amateur Cup and there were also away victories in the national cup competition for Bucksburn United, Fintray Thistle, JS XI, Sportsmans Club and Torry United. ARI Thistle and Tarves both progressed in the AFC Trophy and Glentanar Reflex hit five at Auchnagatt to reach the quarter-finals of the Chattan Rovers Cup. The top three teams in Division One (North) all won and remain separated by a single point.

Cup Draws made on 2nd September

The draws for the second round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy, the Association Trophy and the Dickie Trophy were made at the General Committee Meeting on Thursday 2nd September, together with the quarter-final draws for all six divisional cup competitions.

Training Venue Required

Cammachmore AFC are looking for a training venue from mid-September, Monday-Thursday evenings. Will consider any location, although preferably central/south Aberdeen, and can be either an outdoor or indoor facility. Bon Accord City 2 – 3 Woodside

Newly promoted Woodside go through to the next round of the Aberdeen Trophy Centre Premier Trophy after beating Premier League Champions Bon Accord in an exciting game. Woodside’s goals came from Gray, Donaldson and Simpson while McLaren and Tiffnay were the scorers for Bon Accord.

Fixtures for 4th September

Six first round ties in the Scottish Amateur Cup head the fixture list including Glendale Youth against Fintray Thistle and Bucksburn United’s trip to face Kemnay Youth. It’s second against third in Division One (East) with Stoneywood Amateurs welcoming Blackburn to Webster Park while Scotstown Rovers can go top of Division Two (North) when they take on Bankhead.
