Results for 10th April
Kincorth booked their place in the semi-finals of the North of Scotland Cup with a 2-0 win at Tarves. In the Aberdeen FC Trophy Kemnay Youth, Cowie Thistle and Bon Accord City all progressed. Luthermuir and Nicolls Amateurs both went through after penalty shoots outs in the Association Trophy and Westdyke also made it through in the Premier Trophy after a shoot out with Echt.
Results for 7th April
Portlethen Utd defeated FC Polska 1-0 to lift the Chattan Rovers Cup. In the Premier Division leaders Bon Accord City were comfortable 4-0 winners at Sportsmans Club while Echt kept up their challenge, winning 3-0. Luthermuir and Newtonhill shared 12 goals in their Division One (North) clash. In One (East) Woodside remain unbeaten after overcoming Postal ALC, West End picked up three points and Newmachar enjoyed a good win at Kintore.
Cowie Thistle 1 – 3 Kincorth
After being a goal down in two minutes Kincorth fought back to take the three points from Cowie Thistle in this bottom of the Premier league clash. Ross Adie put Cowie ahead in two minutes but second half goals from James Simpson, Tony Livingston and Andrew Gove gave the visitors the win.
Results for 5th April
Kincorth and Westdyke both picked up three points in the Premier Division. Highland Hotel, Rothie Rovers, Trophies International and University Strollers were all winners in Division Two (North). Alford and Don Athletic drew 1-1 while Haliburton edged out Mearns United in Division Two (East). Feughside and Westhill both won in Division Three.
Hazlehead Utd 2 – 2 Kintore (AET)
Kintore pushed cup holders Hazlehead Utd all the way in this North of Scotland Cup quarter final but failed in the penalty shoot-out. An Emslie brace had Hazlehead 2-0 at half-time but their lead was cancelled out with goals from Wilson and McCall in the second period.
Fixtures for 10th April
Tarves and Kincorth battle it out for the last North of Scotland semi final place. Bon Accord City host University in the fourth round of the AFC Trophy. Rothie Rovers and Lads Club Ams play for the right to face Hilton in the Castle Rovers Cup final while Mearns Utd are the opposition for the winners of Mintlaw against Bankhead in the Barclay Cook Cup.
Results for 3rd April
Sportsmans Club, Rothie Rovers and holders Hazlehead United all booked their places in the semi finals of the North of Scotland Amateur Cup. Ellon Thistle, Rattrays XI and Kincorth progress in the AFC Trophy. Newmachar United defeated Glendale 2-1 in the White Cup and Mearns United got the better of Potterton 3-1 to reach the final of the Barclay Cook Cup.
General Committee Meeting – 6th May
The next General Committee Meeting will take place on Thursday 6th May. The meeting will be held in the International Lounge in the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie Stadium and starts at 7.30pm. All clubs are asked to attend.
Fixtures for 7th April
The highlight of the first week of midweek fixtures is the final of the Chattan Rovers Cup with Portlethen Utd and FC Polska heading to Hillhead on Wednesday evening, kicking off at 7.15pm. All other games will kick-off at 6.30pm with most Premier and Division One teams in action on Wednesday and Division Two and Three having fairly full cards on Monday. Fixtures for 3rd April
Three North of Scotland Cup quarter-finals go ahead with all three looking close on paper. Kincorth host Monymusk at the fourth round stage of the Aberdeen FC Trophy. In the White Cup Newmachar United go to Maryculter to face Glendale in a quarter-final tie.
