Results for 27th and 31st March

The Premier Trophy quarter-final between Echt and Westdyke which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday evening was postponed due to the weather. On Saturday, Portlethen United hit five against Feughside to reach the final of the Chattan Rovers Cup where they will play FC Polska who defeated McTeagle 4-1. Hilton booked their place in the Castle Rovers Cup final with a 5-3 victory against Rattray’s XI and Rothie Rovers made it through to the last eight of the North of Scotland Cup for the second successive season following an extra-time win against Johnshaven Athletic.

Fixtures for 27th March

There is plenty of cup action on Saturday with Johnshaven Athletic’s visit to Rothie Rovers in the North of Scotland Cup top of the bill. Hilton and Rattrays XI have the chance to claim a place in the Castle Rovers Cup final while Sportsmans Club host Cowie Thistle in a Premier Trophy quarter-final tie and Insch travel to RGU in the last eight of the White Cup.

Old Aberdonians 1 – 3 Hazlehead Utd

Goals from Raymond Massie, Paul Vass and Cameron Smith secured victory for North of Scotland Amateur Cup holders Hazlehead United in this fourth round encounter with Old Aberdonians at Balgownie on Saturday.

Results for 20th and 24th March

Bon-Accord City defeated Woodside 5-4 on penalties at Lochside Park on Wednesday evening after the match finished 1-1 after extra-time. The first seven quarter-finalists in the North of Scotland Amateur Cup were decided on Saturday with Great Western United, Hazlehead United, Kincorth, Kintore, Mintlaw, Sportsmans Club and Tarves booking their places in the last eight.

Cup Draws made on 11th March

The draws for the fourth round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy and the quarter-finals of the Association and Dickie Trophies were made on Thursday 11th March. The Association and Dickie Trophies have kindly been sponsored by Colin’s One Stop Motor Shop this season.

Fixtures for 20th March

There are plenty of interesting ties in the North of Scotland Cup fourth round. Great Western will expect a tough game with high flying Woodside while holders Hazlehead United go to Balgownie to face Old Aberdonians. RGU host Insch in the third round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy and Cowie Thistle go to Blackburn at the same stage of the Association Trophy.

Echt 1 – 0 Banchory

A single goal from Ramsay on 64 minutes was enough to seal victory for Echt in this keenly contested Deeside derby. S. Girvan and keeper Ewen were outstanding for a Banchory side that fought a rearguard action for long spells of the match.

Results for 13th and 17th March

Kincorth and Rothie Rovers both recorded victories to complete the line-up for the last sixteen of the North of Scotland Amateur Cup. Mearns United and Mintlaw made it through to the last four of the Barclay Cook Cup and McTeagle defeated Auchnagatt Barons on penalties to set up a semi-final meeting with FC Polska in the Chattan Rovers Cup.
