Results for 8th August
There were Premier Division wins for Banchory, Bon-Accord City, Dyce and Old Aberdonians while Westdyke and Cove Thistle drew 1-1 at Lawsondale. Woodside defeated Johnshaven Athletic to record their third win in Division One (East), Rattrays XI and Lads Club Amateurs both maintained their 100% records in Division Two (North) and Feughside lead Division Three following their 5-2 victory at Auchnagatt.
Results for 5th August
Dyce opened their Premier Division campaign with a 4-2 victory against Kincorth while AC Mill Inn defeated local rivals Cowie Thistle and there were also wins for Bon-Accord City, Echt and United Services Glendale XI. Ellon Thistle and Torry United shared six goals at The Meadows in Division One (North) and Glendale, Newmachar United and Woodside are all on maximum points after two games in Division One (East).
Cove Thistle 1 – 2 Bon-Accord City
Bon-Accord City took all three points in this Premier Division encounter at Catto Park on Wednesday evening. Keith Brazendale converted two spot kicks for the visitors and Bon-Accord keeper Hill denied the champions a share of the spoils with a fine penalty save three minutes from time.
Division One (East) – Fixture Changes

Results for 3rd August
Hilton, Lads Club Amateurs and Rattrays XI all enjoyed their second win of the season in Division Two (North) while Don Athletic are the early pace-setters in Division Two (East) following their 3-0 win against BSFC. Torphins opened their Division Three campaign with a 4-4 draw against Westhill and FC Polska picked up three points in the highest scoring encounter of the evening, winning 6-5 against Auchnagatt.
West End Electrical 3 – 4 Cammachmore
Cammachmore launched a late comeback to secure all three points in this Division Three encounter against West End Electrical at Inverdee on Monday evening. The visitors found themselves 3-1 down with eleven minutes to go but goals from Richard Hay and Craig Stevenson brought them level and Hay struck again a minute from time to seal the victory.
Results for 1st August
Dyce defeated FC Geldie 3-2 to take up the final place in this season’s Premier Division. Westhill got their first league campaign off to a good start with a 4-1 victory against Cammachmore and Grandholm also secured an opening day win against fellow newcomers West End Electrical.
Match Secretary
The Match Secretary is going to be on holiday from Sunday 2nd to Sunday 16th August inclusive. During that period, club secretaries are asked to phone results and man of the match details to Gordon Hay on 01467 629421 or 07775 833638. Any club secretary or referee who has any issues regarding fixtures which would normally be directed to the Match Secretary should also contact Gordon Hay on those numbers during the Match Secretary’s absence on holiday.
Fixtures for 1st to 5th August
The new season gets underway on Saturday 1st August. Cove Thistle start the defence of their Premier title with a home game against Banchory. Dyce will play FC Geldie in a play-off to decide who will take up the final place in the top flight. In a full midweek programme Divisions Two and Three play on Monday while Premier and Division One play on Wednesday.
Cup Draws
The first cup draws of the new season will be made at the Executive Committee meeting on Thursday 20th August. Details will be posted here on the site as soon as they are available.
