Results for 29th and 30th April

On Thursday evening University defeated Tarves 2-0 to reach the semi final of the Aberdeen FC Trophy where they will meet Echt. On Wednesday University Colts defeated Rattray’s XI 3-2 on penalties to lift the Castle Rovers Cup at Keith Park. There were Premier Division wins for Cove Thistle, Kincorth, Echt, Cowie Thistle and Great Western United.

Dyce 0 – 2 University

A first-half double from University striker Neil Rankin settled this first North of Scotland Amateur Cup semi-final at Heathryfold on Sunday. The victory takes the students through to the final at Allan Park on Sunday 10th May where they will face either Hazlehead United or Echt.

Results for 27th and 28th April

On Tuesday evening Bon Accord City completed their Premier Division season with a 2-1 home win against University which moved them into first place. On Monday Sportsmans Club picked up a vital 3-2 win at title rivals AC Mill Inn in Division One (North). In Divison One (East) Old Aberdonians’ 4-2 win against Glendale XI gives them a three point lead at the top of the table.

Fixtures for 2nd and 3rd May

In the Association Trophy Dyce take on Kintore in the second round. In the Premier Trophy University host Cowie Thistle with Bon Accord City waiting for the winners in the semi-final. The second North of Scotland Amateur Cup semi-final will take place on Sunday 3rd May when Hazlehead United go up against Echt.

Results for 25th and 26th April

Kincorth missed out on the chance to close the gap on Cove Thistle at the top of the Premier Division, losing 1-0 at home to Westdyke. Newmachar United defeated FC Hayloft to stay top of Division Two (North) and Glendale’s win over McTeagle takes them to within a point of Division Two (East) leaders Ellon Thistle who lost 3-1 at University Strollers.

Old Aberdonians win the White Cup

Old Aberdonians won the White Cup on Wednesday evening with a 2-1 win over Theologians. Goals from Cameron and Wilson gave the Old Aberdonians a useful two goal lead in what was a tight encounter. Christie pulled one back for Theologians ten minutes from time but they couldn’t go on and find the equaliser which would have forced the game into extra time.

Results for 22nd April

Old Aberdonians lifted the White Cup following a 2-1 win over Theologians in the final at Keith Park. Bon-Accord City, Cove Thistle, Cowie Thistle, Kincorth and Banchory all picked up three points in the evening’s Premier Division games and Glendale XI defeated Blackburn to go joint top of Division One (East).

Fixtures for 27th to 30th April

There are a host of league games next Monday and Wednesday evening, all kick-off at 6.45pm. On Wednesday the rescheduled Castle Rovers Cup Final will be played between Rattrays XI and University Colts. On Tuesday Bon Accord City host University in the Premier league and the Uni will also travel to Tarves for their Aberdeen FC Trophy Quarter Final tie on Thursday.

Results for 20th April

In the Premier Division Echt drew 1-1 with Westdyke, Stoneywood SSC beat Kincorth and Beacon Rangers moved off the bottom of the table with a 2-0 win against University. Ellon Thistle defeated Insch to move three points clear at the top of Division Two (East) and Glendale kept up their title challenge with a 2-0 victory against Halliburton.

Fixtures for 25th and 26th April

In the Association Trophy third round Potterton will no doubt expect a tough game from Echt while AC Mill Inn will also be tough opponents for Torry United. Beacon, West End and Nicolls will all be looking for vital points in their attempts to avoid the drop from the top league. On Sunday Dyce play University at Heathryfold in the first North of Scotland Cup semi-final.
