Membership Applications and New Player Registration Forms

Any club which is interested in joining the Association in season 2009/10 should contact the Association Secretary by 30th April 2009. Secretaries of all current member clubs are reminded that Application Forms and fees for Season 2009/10 must be submitted to the Association Secretary by 31st May 2009.

Audrey Nicholson

Sadly Audrey Nicholson, secretary of Grammar FP’s for many years, passed away last Thursday. The funeral is at the West Chapel of Aberdeen Crematorium on Friday 3rd April at 10.25am.

Fixtures for 8th April

There are no fixtures on Monday 6th April but a full league programme in the Premier and First Divisions on Wednesday 8th with all games kicking off at 6.30pm. Premier leaders Cove Thistle play Stoneywood SSC while Beacon Rangers will look to pick up their first win when they visit Nicolls Amateurs. In the Castle Rovers Cup final Rattrays XI will take on University Colts at Keith Park with a 7.15pm kick-off.

Results for 31st March and 1st April

Luthermuir won the Barclay Cook Cup on Wednesday night after a 3-1 victory against Stoneywood Amateurs. On Tuesday, holders Echt defeated Nicolls Amateurs 4-2 at Lochside Park to progress to the third round of the Association Trophy where they will meet Potterton.

Fixtures for 31st March to 4th April

On Wednesday Luthermuir and Stoneywood Amateurs go head-to-head at Keith Park with the Barclay Cook Cup at stake. Strathburn Park is the venue on Saturday for both Stephen Shield semi-finals, AC Mill Inn v MS United and Dyce v Sportsmans Club. Trophies International take on Glendale in a Dickie Trophy semi-final.

Rattrays XI 0 – 1 Kemnay Youth

Kemnay Youth took an important three points from this tight Division Two (North) tussle with the only goal of the game coming from Adam in the 62nd minute. Heathryfold was in immaculate condition despite the heavy overnight rain which put paid to many other fixtures on Saturday.

Results for 28th March

Only eight matches survived in a rain affected programme. RGU reached the last eight of the Association Trophy by winning on penalties against Stonehaven Athletic. Tarves moved into second place in Division Two (North) following their 3-0 victory against University Colts while Ellon Thistle and Glendale both enjoyed wins in Division Two (East).
