Results for 25th March
Hilton defeated Tropies International 4-1 to lift the Chattan Rovers Cup at Keith Park. McDonald opened the scoring for Trophies but Hilton secured victory with goals from Murray, Shirreffs, Scott and Youngson. In league action, Echt recorded a 3-0 win against West End at Spain Park to move up to fourth place in the Premier Division.
Fixtures for 28th & 31st March and 1st April
On Saturday FC Hayloft host University in the fourth round of the Aberdeen FC Trophy while Banchory face Echt in a quarter-final tie. Dyce take on Sportsmans Club with a Stephen Shield final spot for the winners. On Wednesday 1st April Luthermuir will play Stoneywood Amateurs at Keith Park in the Barclay Cook Cup final.
Deva Dons 0 – 5 Grammar FPs
This was a must win for Deva Dons but five goals from Grammar FPs with no reply put Deva in deep relegation trouble while the FPs go up to fifth spot. The visitors goals came from Forbes (3), Letissier and Young.
Results for 21st March
Postal ALC reached the last eight of the North of Scotland Amateur Cup with a 5-4 win against Bucksburn United and Rothie Rovers joined them in the quarter-final draw by defeating Old Aberdonians. Sportsmans Club moved to the top of Division One (North) following their victory against RGU and Newmachar United extended their lead in Division Two (North).

The draw for the semi-finals of the Aberdeen FC Trophy was made on 19th March and is as follows: Cowie Thistle v Dyce Tarves or FC Hayloft or University v Banchory or Echt
Fixtures for 21st & 25th March
A full programme of North of Scotland Amateur Cup ties takes centre stage. With quarter final spots up for grabs there look to be some competitive ties including AC Mill Inn v Bervie Caley and Hazlehead United v Halliburton. On Wednesday 25th March, Hilton and Trophies International will contest the Chattan Rovers Cup final at Keith Park, kick-off 7.15pm.
Return of Trophies
Clubs who won trophies in season 2007/08 are reminded that these should be returned to the Association Secretary by 31st March.
Cowie Thistle 2 – 1 Bon-Accord City
Cowie Thistle had already beaten Bon Accord in the Premier League this season but this Association Trophy match developed into a game between Bon Accord’s forwards and Cowie’s keeper. Stubbs made some magnificient saves to put his team through to the next round on the back of goals from McMillan and Watson.

University Colts edged past FC Hayloft to make it through to the final of the Castle Rovers Cup and Luthermuir defeated Halliburton in the semi-finals of the Barclay Cook Cup. Dyce reached the last four of the Aberdeen FC Trophy with victory against Ellon Thistle by the odd goal in five and Insch went two points clear at the top of Division Two (East) following their win at McTeagle.
