Fixtures for 14th March
University Colts take on FC Hayloft at Lads Club’s Jamieson Park in the semi-finals of the Castle Rovers Cup with Rattrays XI awaiting the winners in the final. In the Barclay Cook Cup semi-final it’s Luthermuir against Halliburton at Stonehaven, with Stoneywood Amateurs already through to the final. Dyce entertain Ellon Thistle in an Aberdeen FC Trophy quarter-final.
FC Polska 1 – 4 McTeagle
Losing their last four league games puts FC Polska deep in the relegation zone of Division Two (East) having only won three out of their eighteen league games this season. Their opponents McTeagle are also sitting in the lower half of the division but they have only played eleven league games to date and they moved up one place with a 4-1 win courtesy of doubles from Cowieson and Rose.

Stoneywood Amateurs defeated Ellon Thistle 3-1 to reach the final of the Barclay Cook Cup where they will face either Luthermuir or Hailliburton. Blackburn moved into second place in Division One (East) following a high scoring encounter against Newtonhill and Newmachar United extended their lead at the top of Division Two (North) with a home win against Continental.
Fixtures for 7th March
Ellon Thistle take on Stoneywood Amateurs for a place in the final of the Barclay Cook Cup. In the Dickie Trophy it’s Mintlaw v Bucksburn United and Trophies International v University Strollers at the quarter final stage. Division Two (North) leaders Newmachar Utd host Continental while Insch have the chance to go top of Division Two (East) with a home win against Monymusk.
Kincorth 3 – 2 Cove Thistle
Billed as the match of the day this second round Association Trophy tie between two top Premier Division teams failed to live up to expectations, disappointing both sets of supporters. Both teams played below their usual standard and first half goals from Smith, McKenzie and Warman were enough to see Kincorth through to the last 16.

Theologians made it through to the final of the White Cup by scoring four goals without reply against Potterton and Rattrays XI booked their place in the Castle Rovers Cup final by defeating Bucksburn United on penalties. Hilton recorded a 5-1 win against Highland Hotel to progress to the final of the Chattan Rovers Cup where they will take on Trophies International.
General Committee Meeting – 5th March
The next General Committee Meeting will be held in the International Lounge at Pittodrie Stadium on Thursday 5th March. The meeting commences at 7.30pm and all clubs are asked to attend.

Echt 1 – 2 Eddlewood
Echt’s first half performance let them down in this Scottish Amateur Cup sixth round tie and Eddlewood ultimately progressed to the last 16 by the odd goal in three. Daun scored the home side’s only goal with 15 minutes remaining but, despite a late spell of pressure, Echt couldn’t force a replay.

Dyce welcome Sportsmans Club to Pitmedden Road in the third round of the Saltire Fashions North of Scotland Amateur Cup.
