Fixtures for 8th January

After the long enforced lay-off the Scottish Cup is still top of the bill with AAFA clubs in third and fourth round action. There are a host of games in the North of Scotland Cup and one tie in the Dickie Trophy with Glentanar Reflex meeting Bankhead in the third round.

General Committee Meeting – 6th January 2011

The next General Committee Meeting will take place on Thursday 6th January. The meeting will be held in the International Lounge in the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie Stadium and starts at 7.30pm. All clubs are asked to attend.

Saturday 18th December – All Games Off

The snow and freezing temperatures have meant that the entire fixture list has fallen victim to the weather for the third time in four weeks. The Association would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The next fixtures will be on Saturday 8th January.

RGU 0 – 2 Westdyke

RGU officials had worked hard getting the pitch playable for their North of Scotland Cup tie against Premier League opposition Westdyke. Despite having Malcolm Stevenson red carded before half time Westydke progressed after goals from Brad Milne and Ross Taylor gave them a 2-0 win.

Fixtures for 18th December

With the weather improving Kintore and Westdyke will hope to complete their Scottish Cup third round ties while Bervie Caley, Halliburton, Westhill and Banchory are in fourth round action. In the North of Scotland Cup there’s one first round and 17 second round ties on the card. The final cup game sees MS United meet Insch in the Association Trophy.

Results for 11th December

Only three games were played on Saturday as the weather wiped out the majority of the fixture card. Mearns United won in Lanarkshire to make it through to the fifth round of the Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup, Westdyke defeated RGU in the day’s only North of Scotland Cup tie and Sportsmans Club reached the last 16 of the Aberdeen FC Trophy after winning on penalties against Don Athletic.

Fixtures for 11th December

With the last two fixture cards being wiped out by the weather, clubs will be hoping that some games might be possible this Saturday. Four AAFA sides are once again scheduled to be involved in fourth round action in the Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup, with Westhill due to travel to face holders Eddlewood and away ties for Halliburton, Banchory and Mearns United.

Saturday 4th December – All Games Off

The weather conditions across the north-east and throughout Scotland have meant that all matches involving AAFA clubs which were scheduled to take place on Saturday 4th December have been postponed.

Fixtures for 4th December

Four AAFA sides are scheduled to be involved in fourth round action in the Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup if the weather improves, with Westhill travelling to face holders Eddlewood and Halliburton, Banchory and Mearns United also away from home. Kintore, Bervie Caley and Westdyke are all still involved at the third round stage and there are a host of ties in the second round of the North of Scotland Amateur Cup.
