Johnshaven Athletic seek new manager for Season 2015-2016

Johnshaven Athletic confirms with regret that Manager Pete Williams has announced he will be stepping down as manager of Johnshaven Athletic at the end of the current season in May. He feels he has taken the club as far as he can and feels it is time for new leadership with a fresh approach to hopefully take the club forward.

The club under his stewardship in his first season regained promotion back into Division One. They have continued to play there during his further four seasons and reached two cup finals including the coveted North of Scotland Cup which they missed out on by a single goal.

The club would like to thank him publicly for all the commitment and hard work he has put in and will continue to do so until the end of the season.

This club has a committee who are very keen to see the continued presence of our team competing in the First Division of the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association. It is therefore essential we find a new manager for the new season which will start on the 1st of August 2015.

If however you are currently available and wanted to come on board before the end of the season this could be arranged

Anyone who is interested should contact Club Secretary Colin Hancox on their club website or phone 01674 673809.
